At DesertRose Consultants LLC, we provide academic enrichment programs and professional training to help schools incorporate cultural understanding into teaching and learning. In a culturally rich society like the United States, many students grow up with limited knowledge of their own heritage. That is why we are dedicated to supporting curriculum that reflects students' backgrounds and encourages a deeper sense of connection to their cultural identity, and belonging in the classroom.
ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT
We offer hands-on academic enrichment programs during and after school that spark curiosity and strengthen skills in STEM, the Arts, Social Studies, History, Reading, and Writing. Through creative activities like music, poetry, skits, and debate, we make learning engaging and meaningful—building students’ confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPEMENT
We offer professional development in culturally responsive teaching and creative learning strategies to help educators meet the needs of today’s diverse students. In partnership with Altitude Skills Academy, we provide training for teachers, school leaders, counselors, paraprofessionals, and parents.

Led by experienced education experts, our training covers brain-based learning, emotional intelligence, instructional technology, and student-centered strategies. These sessions equip educators with tools to create inclusive, engaging, and effective learning environments that support student success in the 21st century.
CULTURE ACADEMY FOR STUDENTS
Culture Academy is an engaging, multi-subject program designed to help students explore world cultures while developing key academic and life skills. Through hands-on activities in music, dance, drama, language, STEM, character education, and social-emotional learning, students grow in empathy, creativity, and cultural understanding.

The program also offers personalized tutoring in reading and writing—available both virtually and in person—led by experienced subject specialists. With dynamic instructors and meaningful experiences, Culture Academy equips students with 21st century skills needed to succeed in a global and interconnected world.

We have established a partnership with Altitude Skills Academy to offer comprehensive professional development training programs for a wide range of individuals involved in education. These programs cater to school leadership, teachers, educators, counselors, paraprofessionals, as well as parents and guardians. Our aim is to equip these participants with the essential learning tools required to empower students and enable them to thrive in the 21st century.
At Altitude Skills Academy, a distinguished team of education experts with doctorate-level qualifications takes charge of training teachers and educators. These experts specialize in the field of education and possess in-depth knowledge of brain-based learning and development. By engaging in our programs, teachers and educators are provided with valuable insights and strategies to enhance their understanding of these specialized areas. They also receive training in incorporating technology, fostering emotional intelligence, and promoting creative learning skills. Culture Academy's curriculum is designed to encompass a wide array of subjects and experiences. Students delve into cultural exploration, diversity appreciation, historical understanding, STEM/STEAM education, drama, singing, dance, character education, healthy lifestyle promotion (including substance abuse prevention), socio-emotional learning encompassing empathy, kindness, tolerance, and more.
Additionally, the academy facilitates virtual trips to various locations, allowing students to virtually explore different cultures and broaden their horizons. It also serves as a tutoring platform, offering virtual and in-person support in reading and writing, with dedicated instructors specializing in different subjects.
