DesertRose Consultants LLC  is a dedicated organization that specializes in offering culturally responsive resources to enhance academic enrichment and promote equitable educational practices. Our primary goal is to serve as a strategic partner, working hand in hand with schools, organizations, and communities to advance their missions of providing young people across the United States and around the globe with a world-class education.

Our Story

At DesertRose Consultants LLC, we believe every student deserves access to a rich, inclusive, and well-rounded education. Our programs are thoughtfully developed to align with the mission of the U.S. Department of Education and the principles outlined in Section 8002 of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), which emphasizes the importance of providing students with a broad and diverse educational experience.

We design learning opportunities that span across reading, writing, science, math, technology, engineering, the arts, civics, computer science, health, and physical education. By doing so, we support state and local efforts to implement a curriculum that reflects students' identities, interests, and aspirations, preparing them to succeed both in and outside of the classroom.

Meet The Team

Yemisi Agbebi

Founder/Project Manager

Yemisi Agbebi is the visionary founder of DESERTROSE CONSULTANTS LLC, dedicated to providing customized support for schools and organizations. With over two decades of experience in education, social work, and community development, she combines her Psychology degree with extensive professional training to create impactful learning experiences.

Her teaching journey spans Nigeria, Arizona, and Utah, working with students from 1st to 12th grade. While teaching on the Navajo reservation, Yemisi deepened her commitment to culturally responsive education, recognizing the vital need to support all students including indigenous and minority students.

Passionate about empowering young minds, she developed the CULTURE and STEAM ACADEMY curriculum—an innovative approach that encourages schools and communities to embrace global cultures while inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in STEM and the Arts. As the director of Synergy Creatives Inc., a non-governmental youth organization, she has spearheaded STEM and Arts camps designed to spark ambition in girls from all backgrounds, inspiring future STEM leaders and entrepreneurs.

Now residing in Page, Arizona, with her family, Yemisi continues her mission of enriching communities through education, mentorship, and service.

Samson Agbebi

IT Project Manager/Trainer

Coming from a family of educators, Samson Agbebi carries a deep-rooted passion for learning and innovation. With professional training as a Computer IT specialist and expertise in Cultural Anthropology, he brings a unique perspective to education, seamlessly integrating technology and cultural understanding into instructional practices. His teaching experience spans elementary through community college levels, equipping students with the skills needed for the modern digital age.

Since relocating to an Indian reservation in 1998, Samson has served as a teacher, adjunct professor, and IT professional, making significant contributions to educational technology. His academic background includes graduate-level studies in Computer and Information Technology, along with numerous industry-recognized certifications and extensive hands-on experience.

​

Throughout his career, Samson has played a pivotal role in advancing technology within school districts, leading successful district-wide IT projects and collaborating on large-scale initiatives that enhance learning environments. His commitment to integrating technology into education continues to impact schools and organizations, empowering students and educators alike.

Now residing in Page, Arizona, with his family, Samson remains dedicated to fostering innovation and excellence in education through technology and mentorship.
